Signs it might be time to find a new job.

Are you finding yourself daydreaming about a new job? Constantly fantasizing about a new life? Longing for a change? If any of the following points resonate with you, it might be time to consider hitting the reset button on your career…

• You've considered time travel over Mondays
  Ever wished you could invent a time machine to skip past Mondays and straight into the weekend? While time travel remains a fantasy, there are real-world opportunities that might not make you dread Mondays.

• You daydream about pursuing a passion
  If you find yourself dreaming about turning your hobby or passion into a full-time career, it might be time to 1) do it, or 2) find something more fulfilling.

• You’ve included lotto tickets in your weekly budget
  Don’t get me wrong, the thought of a huge influx of cash is ideal regardless of how you feel about your job. What I really mean is, you’ll do ANYTHING to not have to work anymore…have you ever considered that you’re just not in the right job?

• You get annoyed about things that used to excite you
  EEEEEp this one is a doosey. Remember how you felt when you first started that shiny new job? The good old days… These days you let out a huge sigh when you’ve got to do anything that is literally in your job description. Sounds like it’s time to spice things up?

• You're experiencing physical or mental health issues that you didn’t before
  We’re no doctors, but your job can seriously take a toll on your health. For some it’s stress-related, anxiety or depression. If you have a feeling this is you, it’s time for a new job and to get the help you need <3

• You envy your pets' lifestyle
  TBH this one got me. I know we all love our furry friends, but if you catch yourself wishing you were your dog more often than not, it might be a hint that you're not fully satisfied with your current job.

• You’re fantasizing about becoming an influencer
  Daydreams of quitting your job to become the next big TikTok influencer? Obviously ee know that influencing is a real job…it’s 2024! But if it’s on your radar because you think it’s an easy way out of your 9-5, it might be time to look into a new gig. And word on the street is that influencing isn’t as easy as it looks….just saying.

• You've already planned your resignation
  You know exactly what you’re going to say, and it brings you oh so much joy.

• You've got a "Countdown to Freedom" clock on your desk
  It’s complete with a daily celebration dance when it hits 5 p.m.

So what now? If any of these signs hit close to home, it might be the universe's way of telling you that it's time for a career change.
